We spent the day exploring Apache Sitgreaves National Forest surrounding Greer and Big Lake. We hit about 40 miles of dirt, taking various forest service roads , scouting locations for future camping and kayaking adventures.

I have been wanting to hit some AZ trails for some time now, but it’s a long drive down there. These trails didn’t look heavily trafficked. Is that normally the case?

Kyle, some of the trails are heavily trafficked. Hunters, many SxS’s and all manner of vehicles on some of the roads. Most are forest service roads and are fairly well maintained.
